Volunteering Opportunities
Founded in 1967, the Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital Auxiliary has grown into a compassionate volunteer organization providing services for patients and staff. Through gift shop and fundraising activities, the Auxiliary raises funds to purchase hospital equipment, which helps us provide valuable patient care services to our community.
Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital is proud to partner with many local educational institutions to offer job shadow and technical volunteer experiences in departments such as nursing and radiology.
Benefits of Volunteering
"There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up." — John Andrew Holmes
Volunteering is a wonderful gift that can be given to patients and the community. Volunteers meet people, make new friends, use their skills, and acquire new ones. They feel a sense of accomplishment and perhaps the most important benefit is satisfaction of knowing they are contributing to their community and making a difference.
