I joined Palo Alto Medical Foundation in 2004 and happily cared for families at the Fremont Center for 12 years. When the Blossom Hill San Jose location opened in June 2016, I decided to transfer my practice to be much closer to home within the community where I spent my childhood. I love all kinds of family activities with my husband, daughter & son, who are dedicated to teaching me empathy and first-hand experience as a parent. We are particularly enthusiastic about gymnastics and baseball, and we like traveling to places new and old. When I am gifted with downtime, I enjoy reading and playing classical piano.
Philosophy of Care
As a pediatrician, I have the amazing privilege of witnessing the growth, development and well-being of your child. I strongly believe that parents want what they feel is best for their children, and my role is to educate my families so that they may make informed decisions. While certainly helpful at times, tests and treatments should be recommended when truly benefits do outweigh risks. My goal at the end of every visit is for my families to feel comfortable with the plan of care that they helped to create. There is tremendous opportunity for preventative medicine within pediatrics, and I love caring for children at all ages, from the tiny newborn to the adolescent who is heading off to college. Laughter is frequently the best medicine, and often we exchange plenty during our visits. Getting to know you and your children would be an absolute pleasure and an exciting journey!
