I view myself as an educator and advisor of health. I try to completely understand what patients need, what they want and what they are asking. I never wish to appear authoritative or bossy, but wish to have knowledge and confidence. I wish to partner with patients in their healthcare and discuss all possible modalities of treatment. Of course the best medicine is preventative medicine which helps to avoid treatment. Lastly, I am a big advocate of informed consent for treatment. I pride myself in being a good explainer. Regarding pregnancy, I respect that the birth of a child is a day you will remember forever. I try to be a part of that grand and pleasant memory.
