Dr. Oderman enjoys running, cycling, and spending time with friends and family. She feels fortunate to live in the community that she serves, Santa Cruz. Her husband is a public high school teacher and surfer. Dr. Oderman and her husband have two daughters who fill their lives with joy.
Philosophy of Care
I believe in helping women learn about their bodies as a way of empowering them to be active participants in their health care. I love my work and consider it an honor to care for women at all stages of their lives. It is important to me to practice medicine that is evidence-based and I am always looking to the medical literature to answer questions and learn about new developments. The relationships I have built with patients and their families are the most meaningful aspect of my job. I recognize how special it is for them to trust me to take good care of them and I always work to provide the kind of care I would want for myself or a family member.
