Mills-Peninsula offers intensive substance abuse treatment in a safe, confidential environment. Inpatient stabilization is designed to help people who have advanced substance abuse disease, and who are not yet able to cope with the challenges of daily living and work.
Patients generally participate for two to seven days following detoxification, if medically necessary. They attend 45 hours of structured activity a week, then progress to a residential treatment referral or continue on to intensive outpatient treatment. Families and significant others participate for 4.5 hours of education and group therapy each week.
Key components of the Inpatient Stabilization program include:
Check-ups, screenings and sick visits for adults and children.
Expertise and advanced technologies in all areas of medicine.
For serious accidents, injuries and conditions that require immediate medical care.
After-hours, weekend and holiday services.
Convenient walk-in care clinics for your non-urgent health needs.
