The LifeSteps program at PAMF provides a structure for long-term weight management, emphasizing evidence-based strategies for successful behavior change. The program stresses personal choice, responsibility and accountability, placing you in charge of your own eating and activity. LifeSteps recognizes that people are unique, with different eating and exercise habits, weight loss goals and daily schedules. When you participate in LifeSteps, you tailor the program steps to fit your own needs.
The six-month program starts with a free half-hour pre-assessment, which is required before starting the LifeSteps classes. You’ll then participate in a total of 19 group sessions: 16 weekly sessions followed by four every-other-week sessions. You’ll also receive one personalized, one-on-one consultation midway through the program.
