Thyroid Disease

Thyroid disorders generally relate to an underproduction (hypothyroidism) or overproduction (hyperthyroidism) of thyroid hormone, which affects your physical energy, temperature, weight and mood. Abnormal growths (nodules) in the gland are also common and usually benign, but some thyroid growths may be cancerous.
