I work to deliver culturally competent patient-centered care with a holistic approach where social determinants of health are considered in helping patients achieve the best health possible. I believe patient involvement and engagement is at the base of all health. I welcome the challenge of assisting patients to explore and overcome the barriers preventing them from engaging in health promotion and disease prevention activities. I believe in empowering patients along their health engagement journey through the constant exchange of information between them and me. In addition, as a primary care provider, I serve patients as their health liaison if specialty care is necessary and in their chronic disease self-management. I welcome and enjoy working with culturally diverse patients and most of all I enjoy learning from them.
