If you have questions about a health condition or medical procedure, you can research answers on your own from a wide range of sources. But, it may be difficult to tell if the information is accurate and reflects the latest in medical knowledge.
PAMF, part of the Sutter Health network, can help. We offer interactive classes, lectures and workshops led by medical experts who share news and information in a way that’s easy to understand. We also have many in-depth programs on topics including weight management, pregnancy and childbirth, breastfeeding and cancer.
Our support groups provide emotional encouragement and guidance from others in similar situations. We host many different groups, including those for people living with a chronic illness, caregivers and new parents.
At our Community Health Resource Centers, patient-focused staff can answer your questions and guide you to reliable medical information. Many of our centers also provide additional counseling and assistance services including instruction on self examinations, counseling for advance healthcare directives, blood pressure checks and more. Health information and health resources are provided at no cost to PAMF patients and members of the community.
Throughout the year, we host and participate in a number of community events including free health screenings, flu clinics and health and wellness fairs. Get more information about connecting with our health education resources.
